Barrie AAA Zone Midget Program We are pleased to announce that for the upcoming season Mr. Dave Gillespie will be the Midget Head Coach. Dave can be reached at
[email protected] or tel. # (705) 353-0203 for any details regarding tryouts etc. As well, new this season we have entered into an affiliation with the OHL Barrie Colts.
The Colts will be joining with us and potentially placing a small number of players from their prospects with our Midget program under Coach Gillespie’s direction. This should bring additional quality players to our program and also offer the other players exposure to the Colts organization and Coaching staff in an effort to provide additional future opportunities to the Barrie AAA Midget players.
Midget Tryouts are planned for:
Sept 9th: 8:20-9:50pm BMC
Sept 10th: 8:00-10:20pm ALLANDALE BLUE
Sept 12th: 8:00-9:50pm ALLANDALE BLUE
Sept 14th: 3:30-4:50pm ALLANDALE RED
Sept 15th: 8:30-10:20pm HOLLY 1
The tryouts are being held later this year to avoid the September long weekend and also allow some of the Junior camps that many players plan to attend to finish their initial tryouts.
Our goal is to offer a high quality Midget program to our Zone players and provide exposure and scouting opportunities that you may not get with some Junior teams in our area.
