Happy Holidays from the Lavallee Concrete Minor Atom AAA
The Lavallee Concrete Minor Atom AAA team enjoyed an exciting weekend on and off the ice heading into the holiday season.
The team travelled to Whitby on Saturday to play the Wildcats in an afternoon showdown. The boys played a hard fought game and came out with a well deserved 3-2 win. Following the game, the team and their families enjoyed a Christmas gathering graciously held at the MacIsaac residence. On Sunday morning, at the Waterford Retirement Home in Barrie, the team joined forces with the residents to show their off ice skills at baking cookies and exchanging homemade Christmas cards. A team lunch rounded out the weekend, courtesy of the coaching staff, with Christmas present toques & goodies for each member. What a fabulous weekend for the Minor Atom AAA team and their families. Thank you to the very thoughtful coaches and staff members of this team for giving the boys the opportunity to give back to the community they play hard for and represent.
