Barrie AAA Peewee Charity Game
The Barrie Colts AAA Peewee team raised over $3700 for Jumpstart! These amazing 12 year olds wanted to raised money for Jumpstart so other kids their age would have the opportunity to play hockey or other sports.
They put their plan into action December 1st and made their regular season game against Ajax Pickering Raiders a charity fundraiser. The players were responsible for finding sponsors and or donations for the silent auction as well as baking an item for the bake sale table. Their goal was to raise $2500 and thanks to the coaches, the boys had some fun incentives along the way to exceed their goal!
