Please join us for an information session with members from the Executive of the Barrie AAA Zone Hockey Association and health professional keynote speakers.
Topics will include:
- An informative concussion seminar that provides education for our players, coaches, trainers and parents and an outline of our standardized Return to Play process. (by Sports Medicine)
- Player nutrition and effective training for an AAA Athlete; (by Mind to Muscle)
- Basic Hockey Operations, including what it takes to be a member of a Barrie AAA hockey team, the role of our coaches, the impact a parent can have on their child’s hockey career.
- An introduction to team budgeting and the expected costs of a hockey season
We will also have a City of Barrie staff member present to address use of our local facilities.
The evening will conclude with an open forum for a question/answer period with any of our presenters.
*For players that sign with one of our AAA teams, we will be offering a $50.00 discount on the players’ registration to those that attend our information night.
