We would like to invite you to support Coach Norm and the Minor Midget Team with their-Pink in the Rink- Hockey Fights Cancer Game.
The game versus York-Simcoe Express is on Wednesday Oct. 31st, 6:30 pm at the East Bayfield Recreation Centre - Purple Side.
Bring the kids in their costumes after trick or treating, if they get their fill early enough, we will make sure to have treats at the door if more is needed.😉
The Minor Midgets will be fundraising for Breast Cancer research and to commemorate the memory of all those taken from us by Breast Cancer and other Cancers.
The team is dedicating this game to Patricia Goodfellow, a long time Teacher at St. Monica's Elementary School who passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the age of 55 after a heroic battle with Breast Cancer with husband, Doug and family by her side.
Patricia’s Children: Theresa, Katie, Chris and Emily have all graduated from St. Joseph's CHS. On a personal note, Mrs. Goodfellow was my son’s kindergarten and Grade 1 teacher and Pat (I would never call her anything, but Mrs. Goodfellow) was an absolute blessing to know and be around.
There will be a Donation table and a Pink Ribbon table. Wear your Pink and show your support.
