The Barrie AAA Zone Spring Tryout Registration for the 2019-2020 Season is OPEN for Barrie AAA ‘In Zone’ players!

Try-Out Schedule:
Spring Try-Outs for Novice-Minor Midget start on Monday, April 15, 2019 and run until Saturday, April 20, 2019.

Midget Try-Outs will be scheduled in late August/September 2019. 

Try-Out Registration Fees:
If registering by midnight of April 1st, the registration fee is $105.00
If Registering between April 2nd and April 8th the fee increases to $125.00
If registering after April 8th the fee is $175

Barrie AAA ‘In Zone’ players that wish to tryout for a AAA team MUST attend from the first tryout. 
This registration fee will guarantee player’s a minimum of two skates (if they attend from the FIRST tryout). 

Registration will close midnight April 12th - NO EXCEPTIONS!!

For ‘out of zone’ players arriving AFTER the 1st tryout for their age group, registration is $25.00 per skate. These players are guaranteed one tryout.  If the player signs a card with a Barrie AAA Zone team, the balance of the initial $125.00 tryout fee must be paid to complete their registration fee.

Registration is only available online.

Registration/Payments will NOT be accepted at any arena - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Registration is non-refundable after the first tryout has begun. If payment was made PRIOR to the first tryout and a refund is requested, a refund will be issued, less our $5.00 administration fee.

Are you a Barrie AAA Zone Players-'In Zone' Player: 
The member centers that make up the Barrie AAA Zone are Barrie, Beeton, Essa, Innisfil, Stayner and New Tecumseth (TNT).

Permission to Skate Form (PST): 
All 'In Zone' players MUST request a PTS form from their  'home center'. 

ALL REGISTRATIONS REQUIRE AN EMAIL COPY OF YOUR REQUEST FOR A PTS, OR A DIGITAL COPY OF YOUR PTS FORM TO BE ATTACHED.  YOUR REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THE ATTACHMENT.  

Barrie AAA Zone will make NO EXCEPTIONS to players missing forms.
PTS forms WILL NOT BE PROCESSED ON THE SAME DAY AS THE SKATE

How Do I Get The PTS Form?

For BMHA Players
Please complete the form provided on the BMHA website to request a PTS form. The BMHA office will reply with a confirmation email that your PTS form request has been submitted. Please use this confirmation email as your copy of request to attach to your tryout registration


For Innisfil players
Requests for a PTS form must be submitted in writing via email to your respective home centers. Please use your email request for a PTS as your attachment on the tryout registration form.  (Phone requests are not accepted)
These players are NOT required to bring a printed copy of the players PTS form from Innisfil Minor Hockey


For Players from Stayner, Beeton/TNT and Essa who are also members of Barrie AAA Zone
The Beeton/TNT, Stayner, and Essa administration offices will process the PTS form.  These players are required to bring a PRINTED copy of the players PTS form from your respective 'home center'. This form MUST be presented and handed in at the first tryout.  It is required by Barrie AAA Zone Hockey that request are emailed to your persepective 'home center' so that your request can be attached to your registration.   Please contact the registrar to request your PTS Form.  

Non Barrie AAA Zone Players: 
We understand from the OMHA that the process for the Waiver/Form1 will be electronic this year and the complete process details have not been release yet.  However, players from outside the Barrie AAA Zone, wishing to attend tryouts should be prepared to present a hard copy of the Waiver/Form 1 form e-mail issued by the home AAA Zone/Centre for record-keeping purposes.  

Waiver/Form 1 Process:
If a player is requesting a Waiver/Form 1 from the Barrie AAA Zone, registration and payment for tryouts MUST still be processed online and the player is expected to attend the tryouts. Waiver/Form 1 forms will only be handed out by an Executive Member with approval from the Head Coach of their age group and is at the discretion of the Coach. The Coach will advise the Executive of the name of player released after each tryout. The Waiver/Form 1 will then be provided by a designated Executive member who will allow the player to attend tryouts at an adjacent Center. The Waiver/Form 1 will be done electronically this year.  However, a hard copy of the Waiver/Form 1 E-mail must be presented.    
 
WAIVERS/FORM 1’S ARE NOT GIVEN UNLESS THE PLAYER HAS REGISTERED AND ATTEND THE BARRIE AAA ZONE TRYOUTS.
