Part of an excellent defensive team effort that saw the Colts give up only 6 goals in the four games of the Kitchener Blueliner tournament (tied for the lowest among all teams), Declan was a key defender, relied upon to shut down the opposition and kill penalties, all of which he did without taking a single penalty in the tournament.
