2015 Pat Larock Memorial Tournament Champions
The Lavallee Concrete Barrie Colts Minor Atom AAA team travelled to Peterborough this weekend to compete in their first tournament of the 2015-16 season at the Pat Larock Memorial Tournament.
After a strong round robin finish, playing Brampton 45's & Guelph Gryphon Jr's on Friday, Halton Hurricanes & Waterloo Wolves on Saturday, the Colts landed a berth in the semi finals against the Whitby Wildcats. With a solid 3-0 win on Sunday morning, the Colts moved on to the finals against the Peterborough Petes. An outstanding team effort proved too much for the Petes on home ice. With a final score of 4-3, the Lavallee Concrete Barrie Colts Minor Atom AAA team were crowned tournament champions in front of a packed home crowd. Congratulations to the team players and coaches on a most impressive tournament win to start the 2015-2016 season. Go Colts Go!!
