U16 AAA ready for International Silver Stick Finals
The U16 AAA Barrie Colts are off to Whitby this week to compete in the International Silver Stick Finals. This is one of the main tournaments for the U16 year and a great chance to showcase the team and talents against some of the top teams in the province and the US.
The Colts open the Tournament on Thursday Nov 23rd at 6pm vs the Ottawa Valley Titans.
On Friday, the Colts will play Honeybaked at 130pm and then Rochester Bishop Kearney at 715pm.
Saturday will see the Colts face off against league rival Whitby Wildcats at 2pm.
Quarter finals will start Saturday evening.
The Colts are looking to continue their early season success over the weekend. Their combination of hard work, high compete and elite skill have made them one of the teams to watch this weekend.
Many don't know, the winning team for Silver Stick Tournaments are added to the Silver Stick exhibit at the Hockey Hall of Fame.
