The Marble Slab - Sports Medicine Bantam AAA Colts played a pair of games over the weekend and the games could be summed up in one word - shutout !!
The Colts hosted the Central Ontario Wolves on Saturday night at the IRC in a game which featured a number of the 01 Colts helping the team as AP's. The Colts continued their strong team play as 'Beausy' let his wingers loose and they each recorded 4 point nights. The Colts skated to a 4-0 win over the Wolves.
On Sunday, the Colts headed to the Village arena in Markham to play the Waxers in their 3rd meeting of the season. The Colts and Waxers played a physical game as everyone in the rink would expect. When the snow settled, the Colts made no mistake on 2 power play chances and skated to a 2-0 win.
The Colts strong team play lead to back to back shutouts for both goalies and a great 4 point weekend.
The Colts are back in action next weekend when they host the Clarington Toro's.
