Marble Slab - Sports Medicine Bantam AAA Colts get jump on Preds for big win.
The Marble Slab - Sport Medicine Bantam AAA Colts hosted the North Central Predators on Tuesday night in a battle for second place in the OMHA - ETA West Conference. The Predators came into the game 2 points ahead of the Colts but the Colts having played less games.
The Colts jumped out to a 1-0 lead after maintaining some great pressure in the Predators end of the rink.
The Predators showed some great push back and both teams pushed the pace of the game but at the end of the first, the Colts had jumped to a 3-0 lead.
During the second period, the Colts extended the lead to 4-0 and were managing the game very well.
In the third period with each team having a player in the box, the Predators scored 4 on 4 to make it a 4-1 game. The Colts added one more later in the third, making the final 5-1 Colts.
The Colts are back in action with 3 home games over the weekend, starting Friday night at 8:30 pm when they host the league leading York Simcoe Express. The game will be played at the East Bayfield Community Centre.
