The Sports Medicine - Marble Slab Bantam AAA Colts hosted the Ajax - Pickering Raiders on Sunday night closing out a busy 10 days of hockey and the third game in three nights.
The Colts came out pushing the pace and held a large advantage in shots on goal but could not get one past the Raiders goalie.
That theme continued as the Colts continued to put pucks at the Raiders net and battle a hard working team for chances but could not buy a goal.
Even on a penalty shot with a move that youtube shows can work, it remained 0-0 well into the third period.
With only a few minutes left in the third, Tanner Mayne walked out of the corner and slide one 5 hole to give the Colts a 1-0 lead.
Jacob Ingham closed the door for the shutout and the Colts took the game 1-0 finishing off a busy weekend.
The Colts are back in action on Thursday night when the travel to Rama to finish off the regular season series with the North Central Predators.
